Description
Since I published my Pop Art Marlene Dietrich, I'm sure everyone knows how much I love the style of old Hollywood films. It was a time when stars were portrayed like gods and a bit of wickedness was very much in vogue. It was all the result of clever lighting, of course. So I thought, why not use this effect for a new veggie lady?
Herewith I present a beautiful diva with a headdress of broccoli and romanesco. Especially the latter contributed with its fractal structure to make the headdress look finely ornamented and precious. If you like, you can also imagine a wig, as was fashionable in the rococo and baroque periods.
The earrings and the decoration on the dress as well as the stole are also composed of photo parts of broccoli. As always, the lady is painted on a Wacom tablet. Everything was combined into a collage in Photoshop.
This composition of various shades of green and a rich red-brown is not only a must for friends of the surreal. It will certainly not only delight hobby cooks and vegetarians but also enrich everyone who wants to bring a touch of luxury, grandeur, romance and audacity into their four walls.
And if you don't know what to cook today, google some delicious broccoli dishes.
Enjoy your meal.
Yours, Britta Glodde
