Description
This version of my series "Veggie Lady" is uniquely available on FineArtAmerica. This time the theme is cherries, as you can easily see. However, a cherry by itself is quite unspectacular. They are more or less round and small. So what could be more obvious than to bring the cherry blossom into play as well? I don't know about you, but when I think of cherry and cherry blossom, Japan immediately comes to mind. And since all the pictures in this series are surreal, what could be more natural than to create a kimono out of cherries. On one side 3-dimensional, on the other side flat like a printed fabric. And of course the cherry mouth! I was amazed at how easy it is to represent this fruit as a mouth when you step back a little.
This picture is definitely a must have for lovers of old Japan. But beyond that, I have also received a lot of encouragement from people who have a penchant for pink and vintage. I am very happy if this work finds its way into your rooms and makes you dream a little.
About the creation: The lady was painted digitally. The rest is a photoshop collage of photo parts.
